Greetings, all.
Please note that any scrolls needing to be shipped for Their Majesties Brennan and Caoilfhionn should be shipped flat, in a rigid sleeve, to the following address:
Murray Blehart
c/o The Urban Muse
82 Broadway
Denville, NJ 07834
Their Majesties have also made the request that going forward, scrolls bearing their names should refer to them as “Brennan Augustus” and “Caoilfhionn Augusta” instead of the traditional “Rex and Regina” or “King and Queen”, and please refer to them as Emperor and Empress of the Imperial Empire of the East. Please also use first names only on scrolls when referring to the King and Queen.
If you have already received an assignment from the Tyger Clerk of the Signet which does not bear this note and you have already set ink to the page, please don’t change Their Majesties’ titles in the calligraphy. The heraldic staff will make this change on the cut sheets (the computer printout of the text that each scribe is required to bring to the event, for ease of the heralds reading and handling each scroll) if the scroll bears the words “King and Queen” or “Rex and Regina” on it.
As a gentle reminder, Kingdom award scrolls are coordinated through the Office of the Tyger Clerk of the Signet. If you are a scribe and have received a request from someone outside of the East Kingdom Signet Office to create a Kingdom award scroll, please do not assume that this information has been conveyed to the Tyger Clerk (or the Backlog Deputy if the award has already been given), or that such requests mean that the scroll is officially assigned to you the scribe. Such requests are fairly common around the time of polling decisions, however most of these requests don’t make it back to me, and while requests are considered, they are not a guarantee of receiving the official assignment (more information on how requests are handled can be found in the Requests section of the Policies of the Tyger Clerk of the Signet).
Thank you all for helping to keep things running smoothly. It’s been a joy to have this opportunity to work with each scribe in the East Kingdom College of Scribes on an individual basis, and for those of you who may be interested in joining us, I encourage you all to please consider filling out our short questionnaire at http://fluidsurveys.com/s/EKTygerSignet/ to help us get to know you a little better, and how we can help you with trying your hand in the scribal arts as we practice them in the East Kingdom.
Yours in Service,
Kay Leigh Mac Whyte
Tyger Clerk of the Signet
